Originally planned for the Lucan Area Heritage & Donnelly Museum's 25th anniversary in 2020, we are excited to finally present our 50s Rock & Roll Extravaganza!

This fundraising gala will be mounted in the tradition of our previous successful events; the 2012 Titanic Ball, and then the 2015 Gangster Gala. The Heritage Society has put on quality nights of entertainment, all to raise funds for the operation of the Lucan Area and Donnelly Museum.

This year the theme will be a 50's Rock & Roll Extravaganza!

Boasting a night of great entertainment, we will host live musical performances beloved award winning local Elvis Tribute Performer Matt Martin and acclaimed artists The Andre Bisson Band. A cash bar and selection of quality food trucks will be on site for your refreshment throughout the night.*

That is just part of the show, the Lucan Community Centre will be decked to the nines with 1950s atmosphere and regalia and we heartily encourage dressing in period-appropriate attire!

It's going to be one rockin' night! Don't believe me? Check out photos from our past events below and see just how special these nights really are!

*please note, food and drink are not included in ticket price

Want to help out?

For the first time ever we are offering sponsorship opportunities for the event! For details please contact Sheila Hodgins at 519-227-0756 or cshodgins@sympatico.ca.

You can also volunteer! It's an excellent way to get your community volunteer hours in for High School students. We have had the help of our local young volunteers during our previous two events and they helped us deliver spectacular events! You can be a part of that too! Is there a better way to gain your hours than by taking a time-machine back to the 1950s? You can either get in touch with Sheila at the info above, or contact lucanheritage@donnellymuseum.com.
